Will the conference sessions be recorded? Will the presenter slides be available?

Yes! All sessions are recorded and posted to this conference page after conference. However, this process, especially the video editing & captioning, will take some time. Everything will be posted as it becomes available, but experience tells us that this process will take a week or two to complete. 

Presenters’ slides will be available if the presenters wish it.

Is there any geographical limitation on who can register for the conference?

Nope! Anyone in the world is welcome to attend. However, please be aware that all times are listed in US Central Time.

Can I earn Continuing Education credits for attending the conference?

Absolutely. Let your room monitors know and we will get back to you with your attendance certificates.

I don’t have a microphone for my computer. Will that be a problem?

 Zoom has a text chat feature that will allow you to submit comments and questions during the seminars, and a room monitor will be sure to watch these questions for the presenter to answer.

What’s the hash tag for the event?

The 2020 hashtag is #KLAC2020.

I’m a library vendor, can I be a sponsor?

Absolutely! Vendors are listed on the Vendor directory and have the option to purchase further access to our members attending the conference. Shanna Smith-Rutterhouse can be reached at director@mulvanelibrary.org for questions about sponsorship levels and opportunities!

What about our Membership meetings? They were during our luncheons, and now we’re just having one UNcheon…

If you are a member of a section, you will receive communication from that section about when your meeting will be instead of during the traditional luncheon (or afternoon).

KLA’s full membership meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2020, at 1:00 pm, on Zoom. The next KLA Council meeting will be Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
